This nature video of the Alligator Farm in St. Augustine FL, includes Great Egrets, Snowy Egrets, Tri-colored Herons, Cattle Egrets, and Little Blue Herons, in addition to alligators bellowing.

There is a bird rookery on sight and for the last several years the Alligator Farm has sponsored a photo contest. With the proper pass, photographers are allowed to enter an hour before the park opens and stay an hour or so after the park closes to photograph the birds. The best time for activity at the rookery is between mid-April and mid-June. The contest starts in March and ends in July.

Note this is a very hard location to shoot web video. While the birds are up close, the traffic noise, wind, and boardwalk shake offered many challenges that are not easily overcomed from a video standpoint.
